Since getting diagnosed and starting treatment, I've found that one of the best ways to gather information is to hear about other people's stories first-hand, in their own words, where you can find them.

Not a ton of people write about this or share it too often, so these are not very common, but below are some links to some articles, memoirs, profiles and social accounts of people charting their journey through rhinectomies. I'll try to keep adding to this list as I find them.

Short warning that some of these come with pretty clear images of the process, but if you're on this path, it's something to get used to.

My Own Story

I've charted the course of my own treatment in series of Medium posts, found here.

Tina - "Nothing's more beautiful than alive."

Helpful video of one woman who had her nose removed and attacked the process with a lot of positivity. Also has active social media about her experience.

Jayne Hardman

Australian woman who opted for a magnetic prosthetic.

Story with further links and info

Cyril Godard

Peter's Story

Short video about one person's experience receiving diagnosis and treatment.

Barbara Caplan-Bennett

Lost her nose to melanoma, has spoken a couple of times about it and published a book about the experience. Her social media also has some links to her appearances.

Becky's Battle

Video on one woman's journey through the process.
